Our Brotherhood is an organization dedicated to serving the Beth Chaim community and promoting fellowship and goodwill among its members. We invite you to speak with our members, come to meetings and events, or call any of our board members for additional information. We hope you consider joining the most vibrant and dynamic Jewish Brotherhood organization anywhere.
The Brotherhood meets during Sunday School. All male temple members are welcome and encouraged to attend. At the meetings, we laugh, we schmooze, and we plan and promote our many activities. Most of all, we are there for each other in times of joy and times of sadness, to celebrate life events, or to console or sit shiva in times of need.
The Legendary Lake Tahoe Ski and Dine Getaway: A long January weekend with 35 guys in a spacious lodge complete with gourmet food and drink, a 12-foot movie screen, card games, skiing (either cross country or downhill), a pool table, hot tub, relaxing, schmoozing, hiking and above all, hanging with old friends and making new ones.
Annual Parties at local homes or restaurants: Famous Brotherhood “Sushifest”, Super Bowl parties, NCAA March Madness, Brotherhood lunches at local restaurants.
Monthly Book Club/Current events discussion group: Lively discussion on a wide range of topics relating directly or indirectly to Judaism, Israel, politics, spirituality and important issues of the day.
Softball Teams: Two or three teams of fifteen “under the hill” guys in the B’nai Brith league to play other local synagogues as well as each other.
